What is Blood Pressure


Blood pressure is one of Disease that has become a very critical now a days. Blood pressure is the measure of the force of blood pushing against blood vessel walls. The heart pumps blood into the arteries, which carry the blood throughout the body. Generally there are two type of blood pressure first is high blood pressure and second is low blood pressure. High blood pressure, also called hypertension, is dangerous because it makes the heart work harder to pump blood to the body and contributes to hardening of the arteries, or atherosclerosis, and to the development of heart failure.

AS it is known by all that one of the most common diseases is blood pressure to affect people who are past their 40s, high blood pressure is a serious heart related illnesses that affects 1 out of 3 people. The body has a normal blood pressure  of 120/80 mmHg, which is the amount of force the blood vessels pushes against the artery walls as it is pumped throughout the whole body.

Low blood pressure is not an easy disease should not take it easy. Low blood pressure which is also called Hypotension, which will be clinically diagnosed whenever blood pressure reading remain below 90/60 on a consistent basis. Why is this problem? We all want lower blood pressure. While that is true, having too low of a reading can cause dizziness, lightheadedness and fainting. In serious cases it can lead to low blood flow to the brain which in turn can lead to shock and heart attacks.
